National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) is designed to create an atmosphere of excellence, while inspiring all students to demonstrate responsibility, service, and leadership.

 

Belvidere Elementary acquired its charter membership to NEHS on October 17, 2014. We inducted 33 new members in December,  2014.  In May, 2015 we inducted 36 new members and in May, 2016 we inducted 17 new members. Belvidere Elementary NEHS has participated in numerous service projects including caroling at the Grandview Nursing home, collecting backpack snack food items for Grandview Early Childhood program, and collecting and donating more than 300 items for homeless pets at Wayside Waifs.
