Mrs. Petzold-4th Grade
My name is Gretchen Petzold and I am in my 8th year teaching at Belvidere Elementary and my 25th year teaching 4th grade. I love working with our families, our students, and the Belvidere staff in a team effort to help every student become the best learner they can. I assure you that your child’s education and overall well-being are the utmost priority. I believe that each student is an individual. Students do not all learn the same; however all students can learn in one form or another. I seek opportunities to make learning fun by providing interesting and engaging lessons along with learning new strategies as I grow professionally. I believe students achieve success from both school and home working as a team.
I live in Belton, MO with my husband Shane and our 2 children. Caden is our oldest, he is 16 and is in 11th grade, Kyler is our youngest and he is 12 and in 7th grade. We also have two bulldogs, a bunny and water turtles. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family. We love to travel, watch movies and go to the lake.
