Meet Ms. Cruz

Hello! I'm Julie Cruz, 2nd grade teacher at Belvidere Elementary School. I graduated from Illinois State University and taught in a Catholic school for 10 years before joining the Belvidere Bobcats in 2007 as a 4th grade teacher. I have enjoyed teaching grades 2 - 5 over the years and have loved teaching so many of your children! I recently earned my Master of Arts in Reading from Grand Canyon University. 

 

I have 2 children of my own. Leo is a sophomore in high school and Ella is a freshman. He is a football player and Ella joined the cheer team, so we are at the stadium in the fall! We love to cook together and ride bikes.
